About Precious

Precious Grimes has a M.A in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University. She also received her Master in Public Administration (MPA) from Southern Illinois University. She pursued a MPA degree simply because she believes that we can not heal ourselves if we are not aware of the societal and cultural issues we are facing collectively.

Precious is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in mental health. She has served in roles for community agencies including Director of Grant Funded Programs, Director of Quality Assurance, and Director of Clinical and Educational Programs. Through the integration of her roles and experiences in therapeutic settings combined with her educational background, she founded Therapeutic Glow Counseling and Educational Services, LLC.

She has a passion for supporting people through their life journey and helping people understand the connections they have to different aspects of their lives. She believes connections are a part of how we are shaped to perceive the world, so understanding the impact and importance of our narrative helps define and redefine ourselves to align with who we desire. She also believes that time is inevitable therefore we still have a chance to shift our narrative.

She is a survivor who now understands the importance of saving ourselves. Precious passion is to help women identify their innate power, recreate their narrative, and no longer rehearse their trauma as a monologue. She strongly desire women to work in collaboration while cycling through their individual healing journey.

Together we can do hard things when we start to use our innate powers to heal ourselves. She will continue to facilitate women to normalize their natural ability to heal through a therapeutic source that creates holistic approaches that are sustainable and aid in becoming the best version of self.
